We must change our cultural and educational norm to include being an entrepeneur rather than geared to working for someone else.
The vast majority of out educational and cultural norms promotes and/or accepts that we should go and work for someone else. These norms actually inhibit the growth of entrepeneurship. I believe that the solution is to start business courses in high school that educate young people about the basics of being an entrepreneur (even if it is only self-employed as business of one person) so that, at a young age, people who would have an aptitude and passion for such a profession would dream about becoming and entrepreneur and start taking the correct steps earlier rather than later.
Naturally, post-secondary programs perhaps leading to a degree in entrepeneurship would be a logical next step followed by more government programs such as cybf which would provide further support.
