Allow students to develop as worldwide citizens of Earth
Schools and colleges should offer courses and classes that allow students to gain a better understanding of themselves in the world. This would include - language classes of global languages not just the "traditional" languages - they could learn languages such as Arabic, Mandarin, Swahili, Hindi etc.
World politics and development could be included so that students understand political systems in the world and what people's lives are like in other countries.
Learn about their own rights and help them to recognise where there and other people's rights are being eroded and what they can do to try and stop that from happening.
Learn about religion and culture of the world so that they have a better understanding and can respect and appreciate other people.
Give sufficient time for independent research and discussion so that students can start developing their own view and question things for themselves.
Emphasis given on the importance of protecting the planet and one another.
Plenty of time spent outdoors.
Plenty of time spent on creative things such as music, dance and art but not always in a structured taught manner - just time to do it for themselves.
