Global citizenship should include teaching our next generation that war does not "serve any nation" or it's people.
USA in particular, now ranks #88 in Global peace due to its ongoing and unsustainable practice of aggressive foreign policy, which has nothing in reality to do with protecting "freedom and security". It's about oil, arms sales, global "power", all drastically undermining the principals of environmental stewardship, student voice and basic human rights, and global citizenship. We need to stop extolling "virtue" over violence, weapons and killing. It's the number one factor driving shootings in places like an elementary school to begin with!

Schools and other education institutions should be guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the most comprehensive and widely accepted global agreement on how children should be protected, provided to, and included within broader society. Any institution that has influence on the lives of children should be guided by a framework that respects and includes children's perspectives, opinions and ideas. It all begins with respecting human rights.

school is like a big family
friendly schools will make students to be comfortable in school. one of them by providing complete facilities and create a friendly family atmosphere. all students are brothers. all share, to be happy and together at school. no violence, no difference. teaching done by pleasant and friendly, but do not degrade the quality. that teaching is not always done by the teacher. sometimes brilliant student can also teach other students as a teaching their brother. the schools will have a comfortable atmosphere, friendly, and feel like big family.

The vulnreable and orpharnage children should be first consedered for scholarship
There are no simple solutions, no single intervention that can respond to the multiple challenges facing adolescents today. They need access to information, skills and services. They also need to feel SAFE, supported and connected to adults in their lives. Society has an obligation to shepherd its young people through their adolescent years and to treat than with respect and understanding. When it assumes these responsibilities, the benefits multiply in ways never imagined.3 votes -
Television show, podcasts, etc highlightling students in the student body from different ethnic/cultural background
Any school that has a television broadcasting capability can have an interview show with a student host , students from various countries and ethnic backgrounds, as well as , background pictures of the specific country being explored. It can be based on a travel show format.

The motivation of educaiton should be public!
The word 'education' inherits the spirit of real education. The Latin word 'ēducātiō ' (A breeding, a bringing up, a rearing) came from ēdūcō (“I educate, I train”) which is related to the homonym ēdūcō (“I lead forth, I take out; I raise up, I erect”) from ē- (“from, out of”) and dūcō (“I lead, I conduct”). I worked at several factories while going to college and found a vast void between the working place and the college classroom. This void became wider and wider as I worked in the corporate world. Use of corporal punishment like caning in schools should be stopped because it discourages peacefull learning environment.
There is alot of corporal punishment in schools especially primary in developing world where caning,digging etc is a form of punishment.This should stop.

Future friendly school should be based on practical work.
Based on social and moral values, today we are unable to provide moral education in the school. Present education is becoming on the basis of grade. No body thinking about values, students should learn all human values which is more important for overall development.

A NATIONAL RETREAT TO ENTER THE LIFE
OF OUR COLLECTIVE DESTINYHistory is generally understood by young people, as this boring academic chore required of them by the education system.
The intent and purpose of the curriculum in teaching history, is to cultivate the relevancy of the past to the present, thereby preparing students in what provides them with the awareness of continuity.

Global citizenship helps the youth to be flexible, adaptable and promote positive image of the future.
As the youths learn from the experience of others, it would be easy for them to be flexible and easily adapt to the good norms of others for a positive future image anywhere the find themselves.

Motivating teachers to give off their best to students
Teachers across the globe should be motivated as doctors and other professions. They must be given the necessary tools needed, with this even if posted to rural areas, they will feel happy to go there and teach.
Another aspect too is in-service training for teachers; They need to be trained on the job as new students with different perspectives enter in school year after year with it attendant wide range of sophistication and technology. If teachers are not abreast with changes in technology, they will always be undermined.
