Resiliency.
The need exists for us to prepare our sons for the tough roads that lie ahead. We should strive to teach our boys coping mechanisms and strategies for when they fail. And, together, we should be allowing them the opportunity to fail now such that when life gets tough they are prepared. Effectively dealing with life stresses is an essential aspect of developing one's character.

Responsibility
As they recognize and develop their knowledge, skills and natural gifts, I would like the boys to become men who understand responsibilities - to their future families, friends, communities, nation and the whole world. "To whom much has been given, much is expected."

Humility and Modesty
In the culture of Crescent it is easy to be carried away with success or pride. The attainment of this is inevitable for Crescent graduates and something to be proud of, however it should be taken in stride, in such a way that is courteous and not over-imposing. Crescent graduates should be proud of the opportunity they have been given and conscientious of the fact that not all other came from the same backgrounds.

Citizen of Sustainability
Our grads should deliberately act in a manner that promotes environmental, and financial, sustainability not just for themselves but for those around them. Fundamentally they are people who actively work towards leaving the planet in a better way than how they found it.

Intellectually Curious, Creative and Strong Academically.
Competition for spots in good University programs will be even higher in 2030. Globalization and technology advances in areas such as artificial intelligence and robotics will make it even more challenging to find a productive and enjoyable place in the economy. Strong math and communications skills will be particularly important. Boys graduating in 2030 will need good analytic skills and an ability to apply this knowledge creatively.

Crescent should become co-educational.
In a truly gender-equal future, being used to female peers, competitors and collaborators will be a basic trait that should not be delayed until adulthood/university. This applies professionally and interpersonally. Additionally, and this should be obvious: the students will enjoy school a lot more.

Culturally aware
As an aspect of Global Citizenship (which is a broad category) - in a globalized world, students will be working with people from all over the world and interacting with a multitude of cultures (likely through technology). Students will need to be able to not only be aware of, but also to empathize with different perspectives.
